Kept does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. It contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs and does not create a Kept account.
Kept does not monitor the clipboard in the background. It reads text only after you use the visible system Paste control or explicitly run the Save Clipboard Shortcut. The Share extension receives only the item you choose to share.
Saved text and links are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM. Protected key material is stored through Apple Keychain and Secure Enclave services. Face ID and Touch ID evaluation is performed by iOS; Kept does not receive or store biometric data. Kept locks when it enters the background.
This version does not upload or synchronize saved content. App Store purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Kept checks only the resulting StoreKit entitlement on the device and does not operate a purchase server.
You can delete individual items or all local history inside Kept. Deleting the app removes its local app data, subject to iOS behavior and device backups.
